UPDATE: MAY 2017

The contractors are starting in the fall. Sharing the chosen design (out of 9 options) with details for the remodel of the master area. Reconfiguring an entire floor to better utilize the master bathroom, create a dream walk in closet with make-up station, and a luxurious bathroom with a separate huge powder room.

Details:
Keeping the foorprint of the current bedroom, raising the sunken floor.
Removing the “nurse station” and adding that space to the master closet. By doing that the master closet now has a window plus plenty of room for a make-up station.
The entry of the room will now have walls to create a majestic entry.
The “old” bathroom will keep the toilet, not the small bath tub, creating a luxurious powder room. The carpeted hallway will now become the bathroom, the vanity will stay in the current location (with is a cost saving, as well as not moving the toilet).
