When these home owners moved in, they knew that this bathroom would be one of the first remodel projects that needed to be done.
The bathroom is outdated, the vanity is too low and getting into the shower is an obstacle course.

We will update and upgrade the bathroom with beautiful materials and finishes that will fit in the space and has the style of the house.
Make this bathroom aesthetically more pleasing and functional, and addressing the space as a whole: with the perfect custom designs to fit their lifestyle.

This project started with me doing some pre-shopping at Floor & Décor.
For this bathroom we were limited on lay-out, so I started with some pre-shopping and finding a combination of beautiful tiles.
Carts full of tiles, luckily they have big tables so I can lay-out designs and patterns.

FIRST DESIGN ROUND
In the first design round we explore all options. No real lay-out changes: we removed the bathtub as it was a tripping hazard, we moved the shower to the other wall which made more sense and we designed a new vanity that was higher and would complement the design.

Design 1.
Blue vanity and entire blue wall in the shower opposite of the vanity.

Design 2.
Another blue vanity and just an accent blue soap niche and new combination of tiles.

Design 3.
Gray vanity with gray floor tiles for the shower that flow into the shower wall.

Presentation indoors and Trunk presentation outdoors
After seeing all the different mood boards and tiles, the clients knew exactly what they wanted.
Laying them out in the bathroom made it more real.

DESIGN ROUND#2
The clients fell in love with the blue small beveled tile, so we based our design on that.

DR#2 – Floor plan-2
Blue vanity and Blue accent tile: Sapphire Vetro Glass Mosaic.
Large white shower wall tiles with blue accent soap niche, along the wall 18” high.
Large sand colored porcelain floor tile.

DR#2 – Floor plan-2 – vs2
Blue vanity + large blue mirror.
Blue accent tile: Sapphire Vetro Glass Mosaic.
Double long soap L-shape niche, will be continuous at 18” high on 2 walls.

DESIGN ROUND #3
Is all about finding the right vanity to go with the overall design.
We opted to go for a custom built walnut vanity.

SHOPPING FOR REMNANT COUNTERTOP

It is always fun to visit the “candy” store and pick out a beautiful remnant part.
We found a beautiful plain white countertop

FINAL DESIGN ROUND
We have finalized everything:
All tiles, custom-build vanity, countertop, sink and faucets, vanity lights and all accessories.
The custom mirror and custom shower doors will be measurement after the remodel is finished.
