My clients bought a beautiful house with the most gorgeous views. At least 180 degrees of uninterrupted lake views, with views as far as the eye can see.
They bought the house for the views only.
The house itself needs a huge facelift in appearance, yet also in flow and balance of all the connected spaces.
The house was built in a certain time, for a certain client and that doesn’t reflect the style of the current home owners.
Especially the central hallway feels like a rotunda, too many arches and too much obstruction.
And in a weird way it is actually blocking the gorgeous view.
This house needs lots of work, yet a lot of potential. The clients have given me free range to reconfigure their entire Main level floor plan to come up with the best solutions for the view, a dream kitchen and a better use of the space overall. So many ideas, so many ideas, this will be a nice one to design.
