New Year Resolution

How to tackle your New Year resolution!
Organizing is FUN, and cleaning up chaos is enjoyable!

Tip 1:
Start with something really small and set your timer for only 30 minutes. Don’t overdo it! Just enjoy your first step!
Breaking it down into manageable bites will make it easier on you and make your task more doable and more likely for you to make it into a habit.

Tip 2:
Collect all your plastic bags and recycle them at your local supermarket.

Time: 10 minutes

Getting rid of all this clutter, enjoying it and feeling proud of yourself, will set the tone to tackle other areas in your house.

Tip 3:
Start with just one messy kitchen drawer.

Take out all your mess; categorize them, order them and sort them in similar piles.

Can you reduce the mess, reuse some items or recycle them?
Decide if these items even belong in this drawer. Can you donate some items, or just discard them?

Make a small investment in cutlery trays

Tip 4:
Piles of magazines. Do the “rip and save” method.
Rip out the pages you really want to save and put them in a special binder.
Throw the rest of the magazines in the blue recycle container.

Tip 5:
Start with your spice cabinet. Sort and go through all of them. Are they expired or still useable?
