Master Bathroom with Hints of Green

This bathroom has a good size and even the layout is good. It just needs energy! Lots of it. And some additional int he bathroom storage.

This homeowner had been dreaming of a relaxing and Zen-like bathroom for the longest time. Relaxing after a long day with 3 younger kids seemed out of reach. The dark and dated shower made showering as a necessity and an unpleasant cave experience.

This bathroom has a good size and even the layout is good. It just needs energy! Lots of it. And some additional storage.

We didn’t change the basic lay-out.

Yet we took a small bite out of the Master Closet to allow for a new linen closet that could now be accessed from the bathroom. (Space behind the wooden barn door).

Beautiful materials all over, large tiles on the walls, fun pattern on the floor and with hints of green. Glass shower doors letting in lots of light, instead of a dark wall.

This Master Bathroom has become a relaxing new space, where everybody fights over the bathtub.

New materials, new tiles, new soaking tub a gut renovation and a refresh.

My client has expressed a preference for Moroccan tiles and clean lines with organic elements.
