Shiplap Bathroom
When your bathroom starts falling apart, you know it’s time for a complete remodel!
These homeowners never liked this bathroom to begin with. It was dated and key components were either working poorly or broken, so it was a wonderful design process to give them something they’d love!
As we could not change the layout of the room, we splurged (a little) on beautiful materials and tiles. The overall theme is farmhouse/shiplap!
We started with a beautiful new bath that has white tile, a custom-built soap niche, and a luxurious shower panel!
Next, we found a lovely vanity with a matching mirror and added some spectacular vanity lighting to it. The gorgeous apothecary 4-lights style with the clear glass diffusers held in place with a latch from a spice container is the ultimate vintage look. Putting this vanity in front of the dark shiplap wall also created a wonderfully stark contrast.
The floor is stunning for two reasons:
First, it’s laid in a herring bone pattern, which is an impressive job in itself.
Second, the tile looks like it has wet newspaper on it with French texts like Victor Hugo, Moliere, and Meubles. If you look closely you can even read all of them! This floor is what makes this bathroom so remarkable!
The room has transformed into a beautiful and luxurious space that the homeowners adore being able to use every day.
