Bathroom for the Perfect Basement Apartment

My client had been looking for a long time to find the perfect home. This home offered everything even a full basement with direct access to the yard.
To transform the basement into a perfect and private apartment, we needed to make some huge changes. And that is where we come in.

Several things needed to be changed to make this a private apartment.

Fix the view from the kitchen, as you would look directly into this bedroom.
The stairs would also lead right into the bedroom, no privacy there.
The bathroom needs to be updated and upgraded, also this bathroom doubles as a laundry room.
And weirdly enough this home has no powder room for guests.

A project right up my alley, time to Crack the Code of this Impossible Space by discovering the space, finding the hidden potential, and exploring all the opportunities.

The biggest thing we discovered that the bathroom was actually large enough to divide in two: small powder room and a gorgeous bathroom with a new door with direct access to the basement apartment.

Adding more walls to create privacy and a separate entry into the Basement Apartment.
And with the gigantic space next to garage, we could easily create a fantastic laundry room and home gym.

This outdated open wall basement has transformed into the most beautiful and versatile apartment. An apartment with tons of opportunities: it can be used as a mother-in-law, college student apartment, live in nurse or nanny, or even rent it out as an Airbnb.

This apartment has all the privacy in the world and the guests even have a powder room.
This apartment is luxurious and people love staying here.
