Interior Design for lake view home

This family room needed an upgrade and update. “Absolute perfection” that is what the homeowner told me after all the furniture and accessories were delivered.
“We now have a place to call home, grow new roots and enjoy the view in our new paradise.”

We started with a blank canvas and a completely empty home, only for the gorgeous view with pink-like sunsets.
The homeowners has just moved in 5 days prior, and were struggling to balance the rooms. And how to find the right furniture that would complement the spaces, what style of furniture to pick and how to tie everything together in a homey living room for this family to enjoy for years to come.

We choose mid-century modern furniture with a twist, we created several zones for them to sit and maximized the seating space with the most gorgeous view of the lake.

The end result is a beautiful palette of colors, plenty of room to entertain guests, a cozy sitting area for the window and as a bonus: a left arm chaise for morning routines, cuddling with the grandkids and reading.
