Sophisticated Home & Kitchen remodel

This Dream Kitchen is part of a main level home remodel.

My clients had wanted to do a kitchen remodel for a long time, they never liked the dark brown cabinetry and the house felt too chopped up and the dining room was not even within reach.
My client had followed NIBIO on social media for a while and when she saw the design style, design process and design journeys we take clients on; she knew she had found her designer.

The goal was to design a kitchen that would feel like the heart of the home. A nice gathering space with room for everybody a true family kitchen, where the kids could cook and make delicious treats and with room enough for morning shakes and coffee.

Originally, the plan was to rearrange the kitchen, create a mudroom in the garage with a home gym behind it. During the design journey we had so many different plans and options to choose from, that my client got all inspired and asked if we could do an open concept home.

They had always dreamed of an open concept home, and they even had been looking to sell their home to attain this dream, to no avail. Even so, they slowly had given up on that dream until they saw my designs and the array of possibilities.

Like that the open-concept design for this home was born.

We moved the home office wall to another room in the house, we would open up the wall to the hallway to create a beautiful flow from the kitchen, into the nook, to far-away dining room which would now get purpose and a wine fridge and bar area.

The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous and elegant. We rearranged the appliances and upgraded to high-end appliances, added a larger window, made the island a waterfall showstopper. Where the veining perfectly aligns and has a continuous flow. The kitchen is now the beating heart of this home. Everything in the kitchen is functional and well designed.

This is THE home to celebrate Thanksgiving and the holidays: with 2 tables and a huge waterfall island there is so much room to entertain large family gatherings. This home transformed into the perfect dream home for this family. We not only enhanced the atmosphere and functionality of this kitchen, yet the entire main floor is now an extraordinary luxurious oasis.
